~Our New Intern~

Lets see, I met Terry Elizabeth Landusky when she moved in next door. That is, when I lived on Marland Drive and I was a 9 year old girl! From the day she was born, she has never gone by Terry. She was meant to be an E, not even an Elizabeth, just E! She is now a sophomore in High School and taking Photography. She needs to intern somewhere every Wednesday from October through May! Of course, photography related! She picked New Age Foto! We just started with her a couple of weeks ago. We changed our print order days from Tuesday to Wednesday’s so E is helping us wrap them and get them ready to ship out. So far we have received seven free hours to work on other things like phone calls and emails! Wow! She has helped us out tremendously! Kelly, E’s mom works as a teacher and a waitress. She had this past Wednesday off and offered to take us all out to lunch to say thank you (in advance) for letting E work with us every week for the rest of the year. We went to Brio and had a great time. Kelly was always the "Other Mother" of all the kids in the old neighborhood. She watched over everyone. It was so enjoyable to go out and listen to her tell stories about the Good Old Days! I can not get over how much E has grown. Such a lovely young lady, she is!

~Cincinnati Weekend~

We just might have had the best weekend ever! We went to Cincinnati to visit the Stevens (long overdue). They bought a house 11 months ago and gutted it. Needless to say it would have been impossible to visit during all the chaos. So what did we do, waited two days after the new floors got put in and made our way down to their house. Elle (the second oldest child) was one our flower girls at our wedding. She has grown so much. I can't get over it. I did not put the pictures above, in order, from our trip but you can see that we went to the school (Emma - 5th grade, Elle - 2nd grade, Avery - Kindergarten and Aiden is 18 months) and helped out. We helped with crafts in Elle's class, picked up Avery and went to Emma's 5th Grade Halloween Dance Party. We also walked the the kids during their school Halloween Parade! 300 kids in costume. Yep, we were in heaven. On Friday night we went out to dinner (just us adults) to a restaurant that we had not been to before. OH MY GOSH! Wow were we spoiled! :) The most amazing food was served to us. The Wine! Wow! On Saturday we took the kids to pick out pumpkins and helped them carve them at home. For Trick - or - Treat we set up a Photo booth in their driveway and took pix of all the kids. Then gave all the parents business cards for NewAgeFoto. After that we hung out at the house because the Stevens had a party and later that night we sat at the fire pit (also in the driveway) and talked and had wine. So much fun. Tommy and I dressed up as Cleo & M. Anthony. We hung out on Sunday and played with the kids then went out for Sushi. The two hour ride home was sad. We missed them right way. Can't wait to see them again, hopefully soon.

~Hannah K~

I had the most fun with my "sis" Hannah! We did a shoot at the Studio, gosh, back in September? I can't believe it took me this long to post these. I forgot to add them to our fan page too! Yikes! Now, you can tell me what you think. I took some, T took some and he obviously took the ones of me & Hannah together! Hope you like. Can you believe that she will be a teenager this March. Oh Boy!

~Strike a Pose~

Tommy and I were so excited to be apart of a Grand Opening for our friend Priscilla. She opened a Boutique called Luxboheme! We ran into each other at a show at BOMA for my friend T.J. who I modeled for in Kent. He creates amazing apparel out of wool. His line is called Horst Couture! Priscilla asked us to photograph her Grand Opening the following week (after Tim's show). We met P thought the Columbus Museum of Art Young Pro Fund Raising Group last year. She is doll and is a hoot when she tells stories! Check out her line below and let me know what you think.

~Herbs Galore~

My herbs are a'growing! :) I just brought them in for the fall/winter but I must tell you they do not look as good as when they were outside. Tommy helped me a lot this past season with taking care to them. I have been using a ton of them when I am cooking. It has been nice to say, "Ok, I need 1 cup of basil!" I walk over to the window and pick a cups worth. So Happy!
