~November Fun~

Harry Potter 7.1 came out last Thursday night at midnight. I surprised Tommy by getting the Adventure Ticket Collection at Easton We got to the theatre at 5pm and watched Order of the Phoenix (Year 5), Half Blood Prince (Year Six) and then Deathly Hallows (Year 7; part 1 of 2). It was so much fun and the best part was that not everyone forked up the money to go and so the theatre was only half way full. When the movie started at midnight AMC opened over 10 others but never let anyone else into "our theatre"; it felt very V.I.P.! Tommy and I enjoyed the movie very much. Deathly Hallows was done really well. It left us wanting more. We can't wait to see the 7.2 and final movie.
Last week I made a new breakfast meal and it was so amazing. It's Creamy Scrambled Eggs on Rye. You take the tomatoes, put cinnamon, salt, pepper and EVOO then bake them and add them on top! Even the way you make the scrambled eggs are cool. You add heaving whipping cream to eggs in a sauce pan an stir for two minutes till they turn scrambled. They flavors together where incredible.

On Wednesday I put up the tree. I was so excited to decorate it again; every year! After I took this picture I wrapped some more gifts and stuck them under the tree. I am ready for Christmas!
Jill has been out of the country for work a lot lately and right now she on a 20-something day trip in London. I went to visit the girls tonight. They are headed to Michigan for Thanksgiving and I wanted to see them before they left. They were acting so funny when I got there. I finally got them to go into the playroom and get a book to read. Brooke got distracted on the way with a new Cars Memory Board Game that Audrey got for her birthday. We opened it, sat in the hall up stairs and played a round. They were so cute and Brooke was so sweet to help Audrey get some matches.
I got this pic of A-Dub before I left... I LOVE IT!

Happy Early Turkey Day! See ya later!

~Thanksgiving 2010~

Tommy and I went to Michigan again this year for Thanksgiving. This year we were going to eat with just Tommy's parents to we decided to go non-traditional. They were so excited about it. Tommy worked so hard getting a menu together.

This year for Thanksgiving we went to Tommy's side and not only did we eat with Tommy's parents but Tommy cooked the whole meal with his dad. An amazing selection out of Thomas Kellars Ad Hoc book that I got him for his birthday. We left for his parents house on Tuesday evening; around ? pm. On the way there we went to the New Giant Eagle Market Place in Upper Arlington. It was amazing! The Candy section is my new Heaven!
We shopped for all that we need for Thanksgiving Meal and then we were off to Michigan.

Wednesday morning we woke up to the sound of three little boys; laughing, crying and screaming all at the same time and to us.... it was music to our ears! Our nephews were playing right outside our bedroom door. Joshua is 5, John Paul is 2 and Justin in only 3 months. We had never met him and were ever excited to! Vicki snapped a picture of us seeing him for the first time. I love it! Tommy and I spent the whole time we were there either holding him, cooking, holding him, playing XBox or holding him!

~Justin on Wednesday~

Wednesday night Tommy and I went out to meet up with some of the cousins. Nick came over for dinner then we went out to a bar called Marriwether's for some wine. We watched The Middle and Better with You while catching up. Then we were off to Roosevelt's! A bar that Tommy and his mom both used to work out. Vicki was an accountant there and Tommy served. It was the place to be the night before Thanksgiving, that's for sure! There were at least 50 people waiting in line to get in and it was cold! Thankfully we “know people” and all 8 of us got to cut the line! Few!

~Nick & Me! LOL!~

~Cousins shot, plus Adam~

It was standing room only at Roosevelt's but it still got even more crouded to the point where if we were going to talk anymore we needed to get out! LOL. We went to Rusty Bucket, got a table and hung out for another couple of hours. The next morning Tommy was up at 9am to start working on the food. Bob and Tommy had so much fun cooking all day long. For lunch they served us Tommy's Seared Ahi Tuna! While we were eating Vicki started pointing out the window saying, “LOOK LOOK!” Guess what we saw? Yep an 8 point buck.

Then we had two meats one fig sauce stuffed pork tenderloin and one set of steaks with a side of amazing potatoes all from Tommy's Ad Hoc book. Even one park of the dessert was from the same amazing book. The caramel ice cream! Yum. Tommy also made an Apple Pie from scratch. Wow! We were so stuffed! Oh my goodness!

The next morning we ate at the Original Pancake House! Tommy loves it! He used to go there all the time. We are making it a MI tradition.
Then we were off to Holly to visit my cousins. We met up at the mall and the gals shopped together then we met up with Pete and Tommy and ate at On the Boarder (Jill, funny huh?). In the evening we celebrated the Un-Birthday Party! Alex is the only cousin left under 21. He made the cake with Sarah and topped it with "All the things you can do at 18!" :)
Saturday we went to the new Toby Keith "I Love This Bar" Bar!!! Tommy found it and thought it would be a great idea for watching OSU, UofM and State Play. Most of us went, we sat at a table of 12 and watched both games on multiple tvs!

~The End Result! Booooo!~
Every year we have a Pool, Darts and Checkers Tournament! Tommy won the Checkers "CRAP" (Checkers Rally Annual Prize) trophy this year! I won the "IDIOT" (Indians Darts In Ohio Tournament) trophy this year! :) This is Tommy bringing "Crap" into my house! LOL.
~Susan, Sarah and Me before Susan and Andrew headed back to GA.~
~Sunday afternoon we were back to Bob and Vicki's and playing with the kids.~

~My friend Valerie made the boys matching Sock Monkey Hats for me to give to them.~

Before dinner we did a shoot of the family of five. Justin had a Little Brother tee and Joshua and John Paul had Big Brother tees. It was too cute! I will post pix from that session and them opening their hats at a later time.
~Tommy fell asleep with Justin right away~

~Tommy posed us for a shot!~

~Justin and Lita~
We had a great time with the family this year. We can't wait for Christmas.

~Due A, Horst, G.N. & More~

MONDAY we went out with Tara and Craig for dinner at Due Amici. It was Dine Originals in Columbus this week and D.A. was one of the selected restaurants. We were so happy to try some new items on the menu (for that week only). We got the three course of Fettuccine Rustica, Organic Chicken, Spice-Rubbed Duck Breast and the Warm Hazelnut-Custed Ohio Brie. I ordered off the regular menu with one new item and we shared out plates. Oh my goodness; so good!

TUESDAY Valerie and I went out for lunch. We met up at Panara and hung out for a while. It was so nice to see her. It had been too long. The past couple of seasons have been so busy; for us both. In the evening Tommy and I had Pizza at Mom and Dad's. We just spent our time telling them all about our Cincinnati trip and what-all was to come for the rest of this week. I also got this pic below in an email from Archiver's. I think it's such a cute little advent calendar. I found out that it actually comes in a package to create too. I was wondering how many number packs you would have to buy to get 1-25!

WEDNESDAY our intern E was here. She moved in next door (on Marland) when she was only 3 weeks old. She is in H.S. now and on Wednesday's has to intern for someone; That's Us! We ran around town running errands. While we were out we ran to Jill's work to say, "Hi!" She's leaving soon for a while for work and I'm not happy! LOL.
Tommy and I went to a new Bible Study around 6 and really really enjoyed ourselves. After we left Johnstown we made it home in time to meet cousin Bert in our driveway. He came into town to go Whiskey Tasting with Tommy. They had so much fun trying flights of Whiskey and tasting some good food. Of course we had to be up at 7 the next morning and the boys came trotting in at 2am! I was long asleep.

THURSDAY T.J. Horst had a show at Luxboheme and I modeled. I was so excited to be apart of it. My rents were able to come to this one; which was extra exciting. This pic was taken before the hair, make up! I can't wait to add pix that Tommy took. After the show, selling some products, shopping myself and helping Priscilla the four of us went to Due Amici. It was soooooo exciting to go with them because they had never been there before. It was so funny that Tommy and I were just there on Monday but it never gets old! Daddy was so sweet to treat us! We got two of their best pizza's! I will say 4pm-1am in stilettos... a lil too much. ;) I was happy to get them off when I got home.

FRIDAY Night was November's Girls Night. We had a really great time. Alisha, Bizzy, her son Eli, Valerie and I watched the Devil Wears Prada and made Hot Dogs and a Smores Treat! We borrowed my Mom and Dad's Popcorn machine and Hot Dog Maker.
Our Smores treats turned out really well. I got the recipe out of a Popcorn Cookbook by Patrick Evans-Hylton. Tommy helped me make it before the girls arrived. I was so grateful for his help because I had not gotten my second wind for the day yet.
~Eli's lil monster p.j.'s were sooo cute!~

We turned out living room in to a little play area for Eli. The girls brought his lil baby gate and some toys and we played, ate and watched the movie. He was so much fun. We moved the couch back to block the 20 ft wall of shelves and we were good to go... baby proof!!!

~Me, Bizzy, Eli, Alisha and Valerie~

SATURDAY I went out for lunch with the Wendorf's. Jill was leaving on Sunday for her longest trip and I knew we had to get together! Saying goodbye on Wednesday wasn't enough; LOL. We at at On The Border and I gave her a gift to take on her trip. I made a card for her to open for each day she is gone. She was so excited when she opened them!

After lunch I attended Meagan's baby shower. She and Jeff are having a boy; last week I got to see what they have done so far for the nursery. It's so cute decorated with Animals galore. They live a couple doors down and the party was at our Clubhouse. I made her card and got her a Baby Record Book and gift card.
Jeff also made Meagan a cake for her birthday to present to her at the Shower. She turned 25 and we all laughed as we sang happy birthday; he accidentally put the numbers in backwards! She then joked about how great she looked for having a baby and not to "hate that she's 52 and having a kid!" :)

Tara decided to throw Craig a Surprise Birthday Party this year. I was not feeling well but Tommy still met up with everyone. They hung out at Advantage Joe's. I was sad not to make it but I know that they all had a great time watching football and hanging out.

SUNDAY morning at Church some of the Sunday School kids came out to perform for the congregation. It was so cute.
I had been drying sage and oregano for two weeks and they were ready to can. Sunday I was able to sit at the dinning room table and finish my project, yeah! Below are my newly dried herbs. I am so excited because they are so potent. I can't wait to make our next pizza. I am going to add some freshly dried oregano.

Once again, what a week! This week is going to be fairly laid back; which is nice. I think we only have one weeknight event. I have been working on the house getting the Halloween decorations down and the pumpkins and other fall items still out along with having my new cinnamon apple oil tea light burning. I am so excited about all the fall things around me. I must say though, I am extra excited about decorating for Christmas. Is it December yet?
