~The Royal Wedding~

The Royal Wedding of 2011 was an Event that I will never forget! Kyla came over around midnight and we got the party started! We waited hours to see His Royal Highness arrive and the Wedding begin and it was worth it!
Kyla brought over sugar cookies that she made from scratch and they tasted even better than these little decadents look!!!
Catherine looked so beautiful in her dress. It was so much fun to watch the T.V. in anticipation!I took stills of the Wedding while we were watching!
The Ring, not Rings! Prince William is not to wear one? What's that about?

Kyla and I had a huge laugh over Catherine's brothers reading! She said at least twice how cute he was... then he opened his mouth to speak, yea, she was done! His reading was so dramatic; in a bad way! Poor guy, I don't think he knew the way the words sounded coming out of his mouth or he would have spoken differently!
It was wonderful to see the boys choir perform. They did such a wonderful job! How fun to grow up and get so say, "Yes, I performed for William and Catherine!".
I love this shot that the crew got of Westminster Abbey! I was there in 2000 and it was wonderful to relive being there!

I have had a minor "crush" on Victoria since the Spice Girls! If you know me then you knew there was a slight obsession in the 90's! Kyla and I were looking out for her during the coverage and found her (of course with David) and loved her dress! Apparently she wore a dress from her Fall 2011 line and like always ROCKED IT! I loved her hat too. As you know all the ladies wore their finest hats and Beckham's was one of the few that I actually loved! If I had a place to wear it, I would! I can't wait to see her belly grow! I heard they are finally having a girl!
To no ones surprise Eton John was there. He sang and Diana's funeral and welled up a lot during the wedding!
Remember how I said I like Victoria's hat? Um! Princess Beatrice, No! It was sooooo distracting! Kyla and I kept asking why? Sorry to sound mean, but Why? She's so beautiful and she was hiding her face!
You can not really see Pippa's dress very well in this shot but I loved her dress!
Truly, her dress was dynamite! She looked so beautiful walking the girls in! ~You're Married!~
The Grand Exit for everyone to see!
I loved that they road off in a Carriage! It wouldn't be the Fairytale that it was if they didn't!
It was so fun to see other shots of London, like Big Ben and the Parliament!
~A smile on William!~
I was so glad to find a video of the Balcony Kiss! Very short but sweet!
Can you believe how many people were there?! There were even 1,900 seated in W. Abbey! That's a large guest list and a lot of mouths to feed at the reception! LOL!
~I found a photo of the cake, Wow!~
I was so happy to spend 9 hours watching footage and talking with Kyla! We had a great time! I will forever remember Catherine (now 'Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge') and Williams wedding! As a wedding photographer I have seen quite a few but this one was spectacular!

~Temptation ~

Temptation - an act that looks appealing to an individual. It is usually used to describe acts with negative connotations and as such, tends to lead a person to regret such actions, for various reasons: legal, social, psychological (including feeling guilt), health, economic, etc. Temptation also describes the coaxing or inducing a person into committing such an act, by manipulation or otherwise of curiosity, desire or fear of loss.

I can not begin to tell you how tempted I was this morning from Zulily came in this morning! They are a 90% a day deal website for Mom, Kid & Baby! I look at them every once in a while for inspiration and items (clothing) for photographing babies! The email read "Dress your lil Tailgate-Infant" and I had to click! Oh my Gosh! How cute are these? :)

Move over Posh Tots, Yikes!

~Alex White & Friends Concert~

Our friend Alex (of Alex White & Friends) played at Mojoe on High on Thursday night! He plays all around Columbus quite often but this was the first time that Tommy and I could make it out to see him play because of our schedules. We were so glad to finally get out! The invite said that if you wear your AW&F gear you get their new CD for Free! What did I do? I went out and bought a little "boyfriend tee" and some iron-on letters and made one myself! It was Tommy's idea and Alex was still sweet enough to give us a CD!
Tommy ordered me a Lemon Martini and we sat and listened to the guys play! They played some cover work, some older music of theirs and some new music of the new CD that we got while we were there. It's called UNDER THE INFLUENCE and here is there website!

~The New CD Cover~

It was so great to run into a few people that we knew! I saw Rod Peterson and Sarah Stolz from CHS and Amy&Friends! We have met a couple of Amy's friends multiple times at Lux shoots and VIP Parties!
After the Concert we went to Mac's for some food! I was not hungry but Tommy was dying for food! We got a burger and a couple sides and watched the Reds game while we ate. It was a ok food but the service was great! Be prepared! Their Website sucks! LOL!

We had a great night and the next few days are going to be filled with more fun! Have a great weekend! Take care and enjoy the weather! I heard it's supposed to be in the 80s! Yea!

~Meet the Clippers (& Aeros)~

On Wednesday Daddy and I went to see the Columbus Clippers (Indians AAA Team) play the Akron Aeros (Indians AA Team) at the "Meet the Clippers" Day! Before the game we went to the 3rd Base Line and hit up the Aeros for autographs. I got 12! Not bad at all! This pic proves how windy it was while we were there! It was nice weather but a little windy! Four hours and only one baseball card got away from me - not bad! Krash (Mascot) came over a couple times to play with a little boy that sat behind us at the game. The little baby was not sure what to think of him! I got a couple of pictures for the mom and this was the face I got! LOL! "Who is holding me and WHY are you taking pictures?". So funny!
The Columbus Clippers and Akron Aeros played their final tune-up of the Spring Training season at Huntington Park on Wednesday afternoon. The crowd at the ballpark sat through chilly conditions, but the bats were hot for much of the game as Akron downed the Clippers 10-4 in a 7-inning contest. - Clippers Website

After the Game we went to the back of the Stadium (where the guys go to get on the bus) and waited for them; for autographs! I got at least 9 more cards signed while I was waiting there. Then Daddy and I headed over to lifestyle communities pavilion for the Meet the Clippers evening! Little did we know that the Aeros would be announced their too! Lets just say that by the end of the evening I got every single solitary card that Daddy brought for the Aroes... signed!
Then it was on to the Clippers! Daddy and I had a system worked out while we were there and by the end of the night we got 52 cards signed! Yea! I think we got all of the Clippers that were present that day, that would mean everyone that was there, we got!!! It was an amazing day for the baseball fans! I asked Daddy on the way home if he had any others to bring FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON - THAT HAS NOT EVEN OFFICIALLY STARTED YET? He said with a long pause, maybe a couple? LOL!
~I had a to grab this shot in the truck on the way home~
When I got home Tommy had dinner almost done! I have been eating mostly fruits and veggies recently and I came home to Steak, Rosemary Potatoes and Caramelized Fennel! I love my Husband!
Over all Wednesday was a great day! Time with Daddy, Ballpark Dog, Babies, Great Game, Meet BOTH Teams this Year, Tons of Autographs and Great Weather! I could not have asked for more!

~Roller Derby & More~

Tommy and I sure got to try something new this past weekend. We got the opportunity to attend a Roller Derby with my Mom and Dad. I saw Whip It last year and was so excited to see the movie come to life! It was quite an experience! The ladies we not acting like ladies! We had spit, cursing and a bloody nose by the time the game was over! If you have never seen a game before I would say go, just to say you've been. It was a lot of fun to watch and our "Jammer" was amazing and very talented! Don't know what a Jammer is? Read about he game here!
Mom and I at the Derby! We were so excited that "Our Team" won 152 to 96!
This photo of course has us all out of focus and the background sharp as a tack but I still like it. After the Race Mom and I picked up a Program to scrapbook. We really had a great time. After the Derby the four of us went to Mom and Dad's house and had Beer Brotts! They were amazing. We also rented Whip It (on our Beer Run - first one I ever made with Mom) and watched it while we ate. While Mom and I were out Tommy was cooking up more than dinner in the house... Flan! He made it again! I didn't cool in time to eat because we had to leave to go to...
...Shadowbox! That's right we were there for the show Fantasies. It was not my favorite but still good. I loved a few of the skits it's just that Tommy and I didn't feel like we knew any of the music. The next show is "Best Of 2010!". That one will be Fantastic! But it's the last show at the Easton Location! They are moving downtown!
On Sunday Morning I worked in the "Special Blessings" Room at Church. The two children I had really touched my heart. While I was teaching Tommy came in to tell me that his cousin Bert would come to town to golf with him! Of course Tommy was in! In the afternoon Lauren and John came over and we hung out on the patio. I made Cheese Fondue and Tommy made the drinks! We had such a great time talking about their upcoming wedding!
Tommy and I hung out with Mom after Lauren and John left. It was such a great weekend had by all! We have had a busy week so far too. More blogs to come! Enjoy the great weather and have a great rest of your week! :)
