~CHS & Anthony Bourdain~

Thursday night Tommy and I went out together. My High School was having their Winter Choir Concert and I thought what better time for him to meet some of my teachers (from the past) and see the school. We had driving past many times but never been in together. Boy was he in shock! "Are there any classrooms on this floor?", "How many students go here", "That's a Soc Classroom", "Is this it?" He was so surprised! I went to a small H.S. and Tommy by far, did not! The Choir did well and we had a good time. After wards we realized that we were really close to one of the restaurants that Anthony Bourdain and the Travel Chanel recently visited!

On the same night that Anthony Bourdain took us on a trip to visit Chef Brian Polcyn (Uncle Brian) of Forest Grill he took us to meet Mike Kimura at the Kihachi Japanese Restaurant in Ohio. The episode recently aired. Tommy and I were so excited to go.

~We sat in these exact same seats!~

~Me outside the Joint!~I had the waiter write down what we ordered! So, here we go!

-Ankimo To Hirmae-
Monkfish Liver Pate with Fluke Sashimi in a Ponzu Sauce
~Hard a work Hey, we saw you on T.V.!~

-Honmaguro Tekka Maki-
Bluefin Tuna Roll Set
-Renkon Hakata-
Lotus Root with Shrimp Mousse and Shiso Leaf inside; Deep fried
and finally
-Lidako-
Braised Baby Octopus
We had such a wonderful time and of course, as usual, we closed the place up! It was so fun to know that Mike made our food. It was so much fun to watch him "work his magic" and think, "He he You filmed a Travel Chanel Episode with Anthony!" We would both highly recommend it and we will be back!

The Restaurant is location is:
