Tommy and I decided to theme our Christmas this year! We called it "A Cooking Christmas!" We celebrated our Savor's birth on Saturday, Dec 18th. We had the perfect day together. We woke up, opened our stockings and then Tommy was off to the kitchen to make cinnamon rolls (from scratch). It was such a fun and relaxing morning.
The rolls were amazing! I have never had a roll that good in my life. Oh my gosh! Tommy also made the frosting! It was cream cheese based! We also used out Pampered Chef Cinnamon Sprinkles; they were the perfect addition! I have a feeling that we will be making them again for the parents!
Tommy was really excited about his new splatter screen and I was thrilled about my new measuring cups! They collapse down and I am excited that they are color coordinated. That way when I'm working in a hurry and I need a 1/2 c measurement I know to just grab blue!
I did get a non cooking gift; a Hawaii 500 puzzle. It was fitting after this past years trip! I finished it in three hours! lol. I worked on it on and off while Tommy was cooking.
One of the cookbooks that I got Tommy was a Tapas Book. Guess who went to Meijer and created a Tapas Dinner for us on Christmas. It was so good. We even had my parents over the next day for a "remake".
~Salted Almonds with Cumin and Paprika~
~Garlic Pan-Fried (Tommy's homemade) Bread and Chorizo~
~Lime Drizzled Shrimp with Sherry~
~Yummy D Eggs with Green Olive and Red Pepper~
We had a great Christmas day together. We can't wait to have our Holidays with our parents. I added a picture of my nativity here because I wanted to! I just love it so much. It looks so great right next to our tree.

Lastly Tommy had a really big gift from me. It's a long story but it came in at 3 pm on our Christmas day and I was soooooo excited to give it to him. The Thomas Keller book that Tommy cooked Thanksgiving out of, Signed, Sealed, Delivered to him! "Tommy, It's all about Family! Thomas Keller"! Best Christmas together! Merry Christmas Everyone!
