~Baby Aila Turns One~

Tommy and I came in town, from Cleveland, just in time to make it to Aila's 1st Birthday Party! We went straight to Dublin to their house. Aila had a big turn out. There were at least 25 people there. We got to see Ako and Tim; Alisha and Brian and Djanab. We photographed her Sr pix. Ako had an entire table full of food, sweets and a noodle dish. It was so cute to see Aila's nine year old friend feed her noodles. She was sippin' them up so fast. I had three small bowls of it, so yummy!

Alia has a friend named Lucy, she's 14 months. They were making us all laugh so much at the way they were interacting with each other. At this time we were trying to get Aila to stay still for a picture. At one point Aila was trying to "climb Lucy"! Notice Lucy's lips in the pic... fishie face!

~The Gifts we got her!!!~

Aila loves Hello Kitty. When her dad brought her over to the cake to help blow out the candle, she saw the cake for the first time and yelled, "Kitty!" That's extra cute to me because she doesn't really say too many words and it was the first word she said of the day!
After they cut the cake Tim and Ako both tried to feed her a few bites. I think there was too much going on for her to "get into it". Later while Tommy was sitting on the floor Aila crawled up to him, eying his cake. She sat in his lap for a good 10 mins eating lil bites off his fork. It was so precious to see.


Later, after guests started to leave, Tommy was playing with Tim's camera on the floor Aila crawled right over him... it was on! The two of them were wrestling after that. I couldn't get over the ruffles on her outfit, this pic shows them well!
Right before we left Aila was saying goodbye by puppy facing and putter her head down at Tommy's feet. He leaned over to tell her we would be back to play soon and she finally let us go.
We stood and talked at the door a little while longer and got this great smile right before we left.
