~June/July Girls Night~

May's Girls Night was a blast! We went out to see the movie Sex and the City. For June Kyla offered to host us. She got a new place not too long ago and said, "If I host Girls Night it will motivate me to get my painting and decorating done quickly!" It was so fun to see what he had done with the place so far. Her bedroom is red and the main living room is turquoise. She had not yet painted the kitchen. Her place is in German Village on a little brick street, nice size patio and vines up the side. It's adorable. She's got mirrors and frames up, love it! While we were there Kyla made us dinner and might I say, "Yummy". Turkey sausage with red pepper, green pepper and onion over rice. It had the perfect lil kick to it. Last month all of us gals were craving rice crispy treats so Kyla made them and "busted them out" after dinner! We were in love!!! Many of us had not had them since we were kids. Tasted just as great as the memories that came along with the first bite! Next door to Kyla's new place was a sweet little garden. The yellow house you see in the front was a gallery to a woman who owned the property. Behind where I was standing was her old home. It is now all apart of the historic district in Olde Towne. Kyla says she'll just bring her porch chair over with a glass of wine and study all the time. I know, it's kind of funny because we just had June's but the dates just worked out this way. Amber hosted girls night in July. We were gonna have it at Amber's house and she vitoed it and said, "Brio Baby" so we went. Everyone else ended up either not able to go or having to cancel. It was just me and Amber; oh and Baby John! lol. We talked a ton and had lots of laughs. Baby John discovered for the first time how to blow bubbles and he also drank water for the first time too. It was a big night for him. He was our little hottie on Girls Night Out! In August we're seeing a movie at Easton, Outside, on the lawn, by the fountain! :)
