~Puerto Rico – Bride & Groom Session~

Our adventure started out with having breakfast together (6:30am), packed up the rental car and we were off! First stop (two hours later) was the Lighthouse by The Bluffs. I got a little nervous looking over and photographing so close to The Bluffs but they were such a beautiful site to see!

Tommy had a little bit too much fun photographing Rebeca and Eric! Check out his working away in these photos!







Here are a few finished images from the first location, The Bluffs! Rebecca and Eric are such a good looking couple. We are sad that they don't live closer. They are in DC!

The next stop was Bec's Grandma and Grandpa's House for Lunch with lots of their family members. We had the most wonderful time visiting with them and the fresh mango was soooo good. The property was gorgeous. Bec had many memories growing up always visiting there. We got some photos on the patio while it rained. It rained at all the “perfect times” that day!

We had quite the time getting in for lunch and shooting. No one from the family was home when we got there. There was a gate at the main entrance that was unlocked. Tommy got out and opened it. The second gate, you need an “unlock key-chain” like a garage door opener. We knew that, so Eric tried to get up the little side hill to get in the second gate and COULD NOT get up the hill in the SUV, with two wheel drive, for the life of us. This photo was taken the next day at the wedding but it's of our lunch buddies. It was a fun break in the day, fantastic hospitality and hysterical conversations.We just might make it to visit them out in New York!

The third location was down town San German. We shot them in front of a couple of churches and a cute yellow corner building with edamame green doors. The three of us were so happy to have Bec with us to translate. We ran into a couple of times were we needed her desperately!

We got back to the Villa in time to shower, get “re-ready” and meet up to drive to the rehearsal dinner. We got to sit with Nef, Nina, Lil Nina, Paula, (her boyfriend) Kendall. There were BUGS everywhere and some people were flipping out. Tommy was photographing and Kendall and I just sat at the table and LAUGHED TOGETHER!

Afterwords everyone went back to the Resort for a bonfire. There were at least 20 of us on the beach making S'Mores. I had so much fun talking to Nina and Jen Tommy's friend from High School. It was also the first time, on our trip, that I got my feet in the sand and ocean! I was such a happy girl!
