~Puerto Rico - Rachel Ray Was Here~

The next morning we were going to go to the Rainforest and beaches but it called for rain all day. At least that's that the Enterprise man said to Tommy when he “Picked Him Up”. So we decided to do “indoor things” like starting out with free drinks at the Bacardi Rum Distillery. It's 5 O'Clock somewhere! On the way there (not far from the condo) Tommy said he had a surprise for me! He took me to La Bombonera. RACHEL RAY did a segment there on her $40 Or Less show a few years ago! I was so excited when I figured out where we were. The food was great. I had beacon, egg and cheese on a Puerto Rican Danish and Tommy had the same of a different type of danish. It was a true "diner experience" and the food was very good.~My Yummy Food~
~The waiter took a pic of us~

They also had fresh squeezed orange juice out of a machine. I had never seen such an OJ process before. We really enjoyed each others company and food while of course taking a couple of photos and video. I videotaped the waiter making OJ and he thought I was taking a picture. It was so funny because he turned around to smile/pose.

The Rum Distillery was Amazing! Jill often points out that I always causing trouble so lets get this story out of the way... lol! When we get to the front gate of Bacardi they tell us to drive up, park in the right side lot and go to the yellow building. THAT IS WHAT WE DID! We were asked where we were going by a man with a walky-talky and we answered to the yellow building. He said that were were supposed to go to the yellow PAVILION to the right. We did see the pavilion (with bar) by the parking lot but we said to each other, “That is probably where the tour ends and you get a drink, that's cool.”.

We told the Walky-talky man, “The guy at the gate told us to go to the yellow BUILDING! He proceeded to inform us that the sniper man had us locked and ready and that the security was on its way as we were NOT SUPPOSED TO WALK on the side walk! Only the trolly wheels can touch the precious side walk! Are you freakin' kidding me? LOL!

When we got under the pavilion we were handed 6 tickets, 4 for drinks and 2 for admission. We decided to walk the gift shop! Look what we found... for you Daddy!

~Tommy found something he liked too!~

Afterwords we got in line to use two of our drinks tickets. I got a “Strawberry Daiquiri” with Strawberry Rum and it was goooooooooooood!

The tour was similar to any other. First we took “The Trolley” over to the YELLOW BUILDING and got some facts from the driver; along the way. When we got there we were went into main entrance and got a tour of the history after that, a video followed by an interactive museum, a video and a room with "B.R. Over The Years!" The Trolley waited on us to jump on to go back. Tommy and I were having too much fun taking pictures in there.

~The End of the Tour~

We decided to go to a casino after the Rum Distillery. It was a raining day back up plan we had while planning some of the trip. I played the 1 cent machine and actually had a lot of fun! It was only the second time I had been to a casino and kind of liked it! I took my dollar and turned it into $2.97, see...

The Princess and the Frog game was fun. Tommy played $5 Black Jack.

Afterwords we did some shopping. Tommy was sweet enough to treat me to a new pair of shoes at a little place called La Coquette the lingerie & booty parlor!
Baru was the name of the restaurant and this was the food... OMGosh!

Let's just say we are always up for going to new places on vacation and usually don't visit the same restaurant twice but we definitely went back to BARU!
