~Puerto Rico - A Day with Friends~

To sum up the 16th of May, we spent the day with Nef, Nina and Lil Nina. We started out having breakfast together and heading to the beach. The five of us walked down about a mile (from the resort) where the water was a lot calmer and there was a little more to explore. I found these items on the beach. I am going to use them with 3D Dots in my scrapbook of Puerto Rico. Without the sand of course!

While we were getting ready to leave Little Nina came across a baby crab. Nef tried so hard to catch it for her to see up close, in her swimming goggles but couldn't. While Nina was showing Tommy what the little black sea urchins looked like Lil Nina yelled, “Put them together and see what happens!”. We did! Yea, it was interesting to watch. We will leave it at that! Lol.
We had the best time playing around in the water and “testing” Nef's new underwater camera/video camera. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. We were probably there 2 hours! LOVED every minute of it. The water was so warm and the company was fantastic!

When we got back to the Villa we all hung out for a little while and packed up for a Day Trip to old San Juan together. This is Cyrus! Yes, Daddy, is is dressed to the 9s I know! ;) He was so much fun to spend the wedding weekend with. His father is a Chef and Tommy and Ben had a lot of great talks together about food and the buisness and raising a child to eat anything! ~Ben, Tommy, Me, The Bride's Sister Naomi and Cyrus~
Remeber the Circle Rainbow we saw when we were in Old San Juan, we saw it again. I had to get a photo of Tommy showing everyone "how to find it"!

We said goodbye to our Villa and we were on our way to San Juan.

We didn't get far before we ran into Godzilla! He was a little bit bigger than the iguanas that Tommy had in High School!

After that we went to a restaurant with authentic Puerto Rican food. It was called Mojitos and Lil Nina had her first Piña Colada (what they are also know for there) of course hers didn't have any alcohol!

We went to a place called Dragonfly for dessert. We sat outside but took a picture inside before we left. It was the perfect end to a perfect day!
We had a wonderful time sitting out on the patio talking. We ordered 3 different items off the menu between the 5 of us and tried each others. There were only 4 choices to start with. I loved the Chocolate pudding I had and Tommy of course has a new thing to do with his Creme Brulee now, top it with sesame seeds! He has already tried it once since we've been home!

We all drove back to Hato Ray and said our goodbyes. The three of them were off to the airport. It was around midnight and they had a 2am flight. We were so happy that we got to spend the day with Tommy's best friend and his girl friend Nina and her daughter Nina as well.
